REACH Programming

The REACH program services students from ages 3-18 in sub-separate classrooms located within the general education settings in some of our member district schools. Our program specializes in working with students with a variety of neuro-diverse and medical profiles. Our current locations include:

REACH I: Woodward Elementary -Southborough, MA  (Pre-K - Grade 4)

REACH II: Trottier Middle School - Southborough, MA (Grades 5-8)

REACH III: Algonquin High School - Northborough, MA (Grades 9-12)

REACH is committed to creating safe, diverse & robust learning environments where continued commitment to lifelong learning & improvement as well as a growth mindset approach is encouraged & celebrated. REACH values collaboration with all members of a student’s educational team. We recognize the diverse strengths & resources AVC community members have to offer & provide all members opportunities to share what they know in order to have a strong program & a strong organization as a whole. REACH team members collaborate with students, families, sending school districts, state agencies, and community health providers to ensure that students are supported during the school day as well as beyond the scope of the school day when indicated.

REACH assists students and families in developing needed supports, services, and resources for the present and future (after the student ages out of the program). Each REACH classroom is staffed with its own nurse.
